Why do I blog anyway?  

Why do I blog anyway? I mean am I really just that much of a nerd? Or is it that I am far too addicted to the game? Well the answer is probably both, but I console myself with these reasons:

I write to learn.

Yes I write about what I am learning but I also write for the purpose of learning. Writing forces me to be honest, I can't rely on a gut feeling when I write. I have to cite sources, or at least present a sound argument.

I write to teach.

If I can teach one person something that I have learned, then I am a success. Particularly if one lesson saves another tank. If I can spare a tank an embarrasing moment, or dispell a harmful falsehood then I believe I have helped to build the community that I have come to love.

I write to be social.

When I started into this whole thing it was simply because I "met" some very cool people online. Seing those same people comment on my writing gives me immense satisfaction. I read every comment and I love them all.
